Keep Moving, Forward: Bissonnette to Whitney

For Phoenix Coyotes fans, this year the offense will have a whole new look. They drafted some young centers in the 2011 NHL Draft and brought in some new grinder types to keep their stars safe. Ray Whitney will enter his 20th season and with the new addition of tough guy Raffi Torres, the team looks to have all the pieces to be successful.

Most of the teams in the NHL that are successful have a combination of youth, veteran leadership and skill. That is just what the Coyotes appear to have this season. Long time goal scorer Shane Doan returns after leading the team in goals last season and with new draft picks that show youth and promise for being so young. Other players like Kyle Turris and Maxim Vrbata have shown great strides and seem to be the in prime years of their careers. The team appears to be the fastest team they have ever had and with a few good offensive minded defenseman, many people expect the team to have a 30 goal scorer at least.

Super Wayne Gretzky has done a heck of a job putting together a team that can compete in the Pacific and hopefully beat those dang Red Wings in the first round.
