Keep Moving, Forward: Bissonnette to Whitney

For Phoenix Coyotes fans, this year the offense will have a whole new look. They drafted some young centers in the 2011 NHL Draft and brought in some new grinder types to keep their stars safe. Ray Whitney will enter his 20th season and with the new addition of tough guy Raffi Torres, the team looks to have all the pieces to be successful.

Getting To Know The Defense: Aucoin To Schlemko

With a whole new look, the Phoenix Coyotes are looking to finally get over the hump and make a deep playoff run. A new goaltender will be leading the defense this season after 3 year starter Ilya Bryzgalov left for the east coast. The Coyotes turned their focus towards improving their defense this off season and with the addition of new players, the Coyotes defense looks to be among Pacific’s best.

The Broadcasters Of The Phoenix Coyotes

In their fourteen years as a hockey club, the Phoenix Coyotes have made it a point to not only employ veterans amongst their television and radio booths, but to also nurture along young broadcasting talent as well as former players.

The current trio voicing the calls on the television side is made up of broadcast veteran Dave Strader providing play by play, former Phoenix Coyote player Tyson Nash (and recipient of the team’s coveted Man Of The Year award in 2004) supplying the color commentary and longtime Coyotes associate Todd Walsh who dutifully handles the double duty of (more…)

It’s All About The Goalies: Labarbera, Mcelhinney and Smith

The Phoenix Coyotes have been so close to breaking through the NHL’s elite in the past few seasons. The club is improving with every season but the 2011-2012 season offers new challenges for Coyotes.
